Effective March 13 and until further notice:
In order to limit the potential spread of COVID-19, federal and state public health organizations are encouraging public and private employees to work from home whenever possible. Consequently, multiple insurance companies, including Medicaid/Husky and Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, have made telehealth services available as a reimbursable service for members and providers.
To protect the health of myself, you, and our families and community, effective immediately and through March 27, I will only be offering secure telehealth services. Depending on the status of the COVID-19 outbreak, I may extend this policy beyond March 27.
I will provide telehealth services through Telehealth by Simple Practice. Below is a document, describing how to access your telehealth appointment.
Your co-pay will remain the same for telehealth as it is for in-person sessions. I will collect your co-pay by credit card at the beginning of each telehealth session, or I can collect all co-pays when we resume in-person services. If you do not wish to participate in telehealth services, or this change creates a problem for you, please email or call me and we can discuss.
I strive to maintain a safe and healthy environment for my patients and thank you for your cooperation. Stay healthy!
